• The rear camera system consists of a triple 48MP setup: 48MP main camera (f/1.9), 48MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.0), and 48MP 3x telephoto camera (f/2.8). The front camera is 12MP (f/2.0).
• The telephoto sensor is approximately four times larger than before. All three cameras deliver low-light performance comparable to full-frame sensor digital cameras, allowing beautiful photography in any scene without noticeable differences between lenses.
• A new AI-powered feature recognizes scenes and suggests expressive image styles tailored to each situation. Even without advanced camera knowledge, users can capture images with diverse visual expression. • Newly developed RAW data stacking technology improves noise reduction, resolution, and HDR performance in still photography. White clipping and black crushing are further minimized, while low-light noise handling and bokeh rendering accuracy are improved. Bokeh Mode delivers dramatic background blur similar to interchangeable-lens cameras.
• Depending on the scene and subject, users can shoot lossless-quality photos at optical focal lengths of 16mm, 24mm, 48mm, 70mm, and 140mm. Color inconsistencies and framing differences between lenses have been reduced compared to the previous model, providing a unified shooting experience across all three cameras. ZEISS T* coating suppresses unwanted reflections for clear, crisp rendering.
• The camera automatically tracks subjects while simultaneously recording both wide-angle scenery and close-up footage. Natural expressions of family and pets, as well as the excitement of sports and stage performances, can be captured beautifully while enjoying the moment firsthand. Telephoto video recording is now supported, and digital zoom is available on all three lenses. Snapshot capture during video recording is also supported.
• Simply selecting the telephoto lens in photo or video mode enables close-up shooting from as near as 15cm, allowing subjects to appear larger in frame. AF and touch focus are supported.
• With features inherited from Sony α cameras — including up to 30fps AF/AE continuous shooting, Creative Look, S-Cinetone for mobile, RAW shooting, and 4K120fps recording — users can enjoy highly flexible creative expression.
• Technologies developed through Walkman and BRAVIA have been brought together in Xperia. Audio reproduces everything from delicate nuance to powerful depth, while visuals naturally express subtle gradation and rich colors, allowing premium entertainment experiences tailored to personal style and sensitivity.
• Newly developed enhanced speaker units are symmetrically installed on both sides, delivering deeper bass, clearer highs, and immersive sound with greater depth and spaciousness. Voices and instruments sound clearer and richer, creating a highly immersive experience that feels as though music stages and movie scenes are unfolding directly in front of you.
• Bluetooth transmission output power reaches Xperia’s highest-ever level, matching Xperia 1 VII, for more stable wireless connectivity. Especially when paired with Sony WF-1000XM6 wireless earbuds, audio dropouts are greatly reduced for a more comfortable listening experience. Combined with the improved microphone performance of WF-1000XM6, Sony delivers premium viewing and calling experiences across various scenarios.
• High-quality components proven in Walkman devices are used throughout. Gold-infused high-quality solder is applied across the entire audio jack section to reproduce even delicate audio details. High-grade resistors with non-magnetic copper plating further reduce sound distortion caused by magnetic interference, resulting in smoother and richer sound reproduction.
